About Calc for Class

Free math tools shaped by teachers and students.

Calc for Class is a U.S.-based educational project created by a group of math teachers and student contributors. We build practical calculators, lessons, practice activities and classroom resources that are free to open and easy to share.

Why we created Calc for Class

Students often need a calculator quickly, but a result alone is not always enough. Calc for Class connects working browser tools with key-by-key instructions, examples, practice and troubleshooting so a learner can calculate, understand the workflow and try the skill independently.

Teacher contributors help shape the instructional approach, examples and classroom resources. Student contributors help identify confusing steps, test pages on commonly used devices and improve the clarity of the experience.

What we publish

CalculatorsBrowser tools for graphing, scientific work, statistics, matrices, fractions and other classroom calculations.
Learning guidesPlain-language explanations, calculator key sequences, examples and common-error help.
PracticeInteractive questions, printable activities, answer checks and teacher-ready resources.
Classroom resourcesPrintable posters, guided activities and shareable pages that teachers can use with students.

Our future scholarship initiative

Planned — applications are not open

As Calc for Class grows, we intend to use part of the project’s available resources to provide small educational scholarships to students from low-income and underserved communities in South Asia.

The support may help with practical education costs such as books, examination fees, learning devices, internet access or other essential study expenses. Before any application process opens, we will publish clear eligibility requirements, selection procedures, award amounts, timelines and privacy protections.

Calc for Class will never charge a scholarship application fee. Any future scholarship announcement will appear on this website and use an official Calc for Class contact channel.

Independence and trademarks

Calc for Class is an independent educational website. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Texas Instruments, Pearson, examination providers or the manufacturers of products discussed on the site. TI-84, TI-84 Plus and TI-84 Plus CE are trademarks of Texas Instruments Incorporated.

How the project is supported

Our aim is to keep the core tools freely accessible. The website may use service providers for hosting, security, analytics, externally delivered calculator technology or, in the future, advertising. When a service materially changes how visitor information is handled, we will update the Privacy Policy and related notices.

Corrections and contact

Calculators and educational materials can contain mistakes. Visitors can report a problem, suggest an improvement or request a classroom resource through the contact page. We use that feedback to correct tools, clarify instructions and improve classroom resources.
