Terms of Use

Terms for using Calc for Class

These terms describe the educational purpose, limitations and acceptable use of our calculators, guides, practice activities and downloadable resources.

Effective: July 21, 2026

Educational use

Calc for Class is designed to support learning and classroom work. It is not a substitute for a teacher, official course material, professional advice or an authorized examination calculator.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By using Calc for Class, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the website.

2. Calculators and educational content

We aim to provide useful and accurate tools, but calculations, explanations, answer keys and technical information may contain errors or may not apply to every course, device or situation. Verify important results using an appropriate independent method and follow instructions from your teacher, institution or official source.

3. Examination and classroom rules

Access to an online calculator does not mean it is permitted during a test, examination or graded activity. Users are responsible for following current rules from their school, course, instructor and testing provider.

4. Third-party calculator services

The TI-84 Calculator Online relies on externally delivered calculator technology. Availability, appearance, functionality and data handling can be affected by the external provider, browser settings, network filters or service changes. Calc for Class does not control those external systems and cannot promise uninterrupted access.

5. Acceptable use

You may use the website for lawful personal, educational and classroom purposes. You must not attempt to damage the service, bypass security controls, overload infrastructure, introduce malicious code, scrape the site in a way that disrupts service, misrepresent the source of content, or use the website to violate academic rules or another person’s rights.

6. Accounts and user submissions

Core calculator use does not currently require an account. When you contact us or request a resource, you are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the information you submit. Do not send confidential student records, passwords or sensitive personal data.

7. Intellectual property and classroom use

Unless a resource is labelled with a separate open licence, the website design, original text, software and branding are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Teachers may link to public pages and use downloadable resources according to the licence or instructions shown with each resource. Open Educational Resources marked CC BY 4.0 may be reused under that licence.

8. Trademarks and independence

Calc for Class is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Texas Instruments, Pearson, examination providers or product manufacturers discussed on the site. TI-84, TI-84 Plus and TI-84 Plus CE are trademarks of Texas Instruments Incorporated. Other names and marks belong to their respective owners.

9. External links

Links to third-party websites are provided for reference or access to supporting services. We are not responsible for their content, availability, security, terms or privacy practices.

10. Planned scholarship initiative

The scholarship initiative described on the About page is a future plan, not a current offer or promise of funding. Applications are not open. Any future program will have separate published eligibility rules, timelines, privacy notices and award terms. Calc for Class will not charge an application fee.

11. Service changes and availability

We may add, change, suspend or remove tools and content, correct errors or update these terms. We do not guarantee that every feature will remain available or work on every device or network.

12. Disclaimer and limitation

The website is provided on an “as available” basis for educational use. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Calc for Class disclaims warranties that are not expressly stated and is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from reliance on the website, inability to access a service, or use contrary to school or examination rules. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded.

13. Contact

Questions, correction requests or reports of misuse can be sent through the contact page.
