About the calculator

What is the TI-30XS Calculator Online?

This original browser calculator is designed for students who want to practise the kinds of multi-line scientific workflows commonly associated with the TI-30XS MultiView family. It combines a four-line history, textbook-style function templates, angle modes, notation settings, statistics and function tables in one page.

The physical TI-30XS MultiView is a scientific calculator widely used in high-school mathematics and science. Calc for Class does not reproduce Texas Instruments firmware or an exact copyrighted faceplate. Instead, it provides an independent educational calculator with familiar capabilities, clearer browser controls, learning guides and practice sets.

How to use it

Start in five simple steps

  1. 1
    Check the mode indicators

Confirm DEG, RAD or GRAD and choose normal, scientific or engineering notation.

  2. 2
    Enter the expression

Use the calculator keys or type with a computer keyboard.

  3. 3
    Press ENTER

The result appears on the right and becomes the stored Ans value.

  4. 4
    Review or edit previous work

Use the up and down controls to recall earlier expressions.

  5. 5

Frequently asked questions

TI-30XS Calculator Online FAQ

Is this TI-30XS calculator free to use?

Yes. It is free to use in a supported browser and does not require a student account.

Is this an official Texas Instruments calculator?

No. Calc for Class is independent. This original browser calculator supports familiar TI-30XS-style workflows but is not Texas Instruments firmware or an official emulator.

Can it calculate fractions and mixed numbers?

Yes. Use the fraction key or type frac(n,d), then use the answer-toggle function to switch suitable results between decimal and fraction form.

Does it support Degree, Radian and Gradian modes?

Yes. Open Mode and confirm the indicator before using sine, cosine, tangent or inverse trigonometry.

Can I calculate statistics and function tables?

Yes. Open Data for one-variable summaries and Table to evaluate a function over a range.

Does the calculator save previous calculations?

Recent calculations, modes and memory values are stored locally in this browser. Clearing browser data removes them.

Can I use it during an exam?

Online calculator permission depends on the school or testing provider. Check current rules before an assessment.
