TI-30XS Loan Guide for College Students

1. Confirm the model

This guide is for the TI-30XS MultiView family. It is a scientific calculator with a multi-line display and fraction templates. It does not provide the full graphing screen of a TI-84.

Check the printed name. Similar-looking TI scientific calculators can use different menus and key sequences.

Power and clearTurn the calculator on and use CLEAR to remove the current entry. Use the arrow padMove through earlier entries, templates and menu choices without deleting stored work. Enter a fractionUse the fraction template, move between numerator and denominator, then press ENTER. Recognise exact and decimal outputUse the supported toggle only when you need another representation of the same value. Distinguish negative from subtractionUse the negative-number key when entering a value below zero. Check the angle modeConfirm Degree or Radian before trigonometry.
