3. Fifteen-minute graphing orientation
Enter and display a function
- Press Y=.
- Move to an empty line and enter x².
- Press GRAPH.
- If the graph is missing or looks unreasonable, try ZOOM, then 6:ZStandard.
Inspect the graph
- Use TRACE and the arrow keys to inspect points.
- Use 2nd, then GRAPH, to open the table on many TI-84 models.
- Use WINDOW only when you understand the requested viewing range.
